Today, 3-31-08, the Telegraph reports that the US Federal Reserve is considering nationalizing American banks as a “possible interim solution to the US financial crisis”. In 1991-93, Norway, Sweden and Finland seized banks when bank assets fell to ZERO (Norway) or 2 PERCENT (Sweden).

In this model, “Nordic banks were nursed back to health and refloated or merged”. The “tough policies” removed upper management and shareholders received nothing. The online paper writes that the Bear-Sterns rescue has been criticized as a “taxpayer gift to rich bankers”.

A month ago, cnn.com/2/28/08 quoted Jaret Seiberg, an analyst with Stanford Group, as saying that US financial “regulators are bracing for 100 - 200 bank failures over the next 12 - 24 months.” There were 4 US bank failures in 2007.

I am 67, but when I was 10 , my CHIHUAHUA - Tippy - was my greatest teacher about REWARD and PUNISHMENT. My mother was giving me a birthday party. There was a chocolate cake sitting on the dining room table. My dog hopped up on a chair and then hopped up on the table.Before anyone noticed, Tippy had eaten one third of the cake.

His sides were bulging and his stomach was almost dragging the ground. My mother noticed, picked up a broom and came after my canine companion. Tippy was frantic and his little feet were spinning and clacking on the table. All the kids were watching this drama and were screaming and laughing. Tippy was involuntarily peeing from his great fright.

Finally, he got traction, jumped to the chair and hit the floor. He headed straight for the back door. I didn’t hesitate for a second. I rushed to let him outside. He was always fast, but I had never seen his cannon-shot run. I was awestruck. In the backyard, my mother was chasing him, wildly swinging the broom. She could never catch him and he knew her madness would settle down in an hour or so.

So, there it was, my lesson about REWARD and PUNISHMENT. My bulging bellied canine got chased around with a broom and that was it. His punishment was light. But I noticed that my mother did not bake another CHOCOLATE CAKE and put it in his FEEDING BOWL the next day. At the very least, I learned that you do not REWARD dogs for negative behaviors.

The banks got chocolate cake in their FEEDING BOWLS pre-1929 and pre-2007. In the 2007 bank failure drama - the banks have gotten great rewards by bringing global insecurities into local environments. Take great risks. You can BREAK EVEN. Take great risks. You can reap GREAT REWARDS. Take great risks. You can reap GREAT LOSSES! Or maybe there are NO CONSEQUENCES at all - monetary or criminal -for using the private, Federal Reserve to commit public monies - without the most rudimentary, moral stewardship and leadership.

Now, at the end of March, the Fed proposes $100 billion more from taxpayers to bail out US banks. The TRILLION DOLLAR MELTDOWN would buy a lot of Alpo for seniors spending down their assets to get medical care. In day -to -day America, if you are poor, you get $100 per month worth of food stamps. That’s $3.33 per day.

For one day’s ration, you can buy a loaf of bread or a bag of apples or a few chicken thighs. Half of the world lives on $2 per day for all of their needs. So, in an Einsteinian way, we are lucky. Next time, I lose some money in a CASINO, I’m lining up for my bailout. The Great Chihuahua in the Sky has filled the banker’s feeding bowl with CHOCOLATE BULLION. Now, Santa Claus is coming to town - with a gigabyte bag of money. ARTHUR

Benjamin Franklin lost his spot on the $100 bill today. White Rabbit ordered his own photo (with blue top hat) to replace that of the country’s founder on the C-note. At a press conference with the Queen, WR said that “this move was necessary to push citizen’s minds away from FRUGALITY, CAUTION, PLANNING and DIALOGUE. WR said that ” these penny- saved/ penny -earned virtues are just OBSOLETE hand-me-downs of the Ben Franklin era .”

“No more village square dialogue. No planning - only crisis management. No caution - fast-paced, emotion-centric decisions. And frugality - check your wallet!” WR cracked.

As the new overseers of the dollar plantation, WR & Alice cracked the whip today and had janitors remove THE LAST STRAW from the CORRALS OF POWER previously inhabited by the FOUR HORSEMEN. White Rabbit today took over all four federal agencies - the Federal Reserve, Office of Comptroller of Currency, Office of Thrift Supervision and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission.

WR replaced these four agencies with a Business Conduct Regulator and a Corporate Finance Regulator. In between her games of croquet, the Queen will hold both positions. She said “I have also modified my mantra. It is now “OFF WITH THEIR BREADS”. The Queen, at the press conference podium with Alice, said she reluctantly changed her slogan, due to the thousands of hungry, (”food insecure”) picketing peasants outside the Rabbit Hole.

The Queen was jumping with happiness: “We have lost half of the value of the dollar so that the cost of your food in America will double. We are now pumping aquifers dry for corn fuel to go in our cars. We prefer driving to eating. What doesn’t go into our cars and corn chips is exported, so that our food in the US is higher. We are also working with developers thruout the US to pave over as many orchards and farmlands as we possibly can.”

WR today ordered that the M3 report which monitors PPM - Printing Press Money - be abolished. “This is a ‘need to know’ issue,” he said. “We have consulted with the Queen who has consulted with the Flamingos. They see no reason for foreigners to be concerned. We don’t need their money anyway - that’s why we are dropping the interest rate. We are working hard to bring interest rates to zero by Summer, 2008. Wall Street survives. Dollar dies. End of story.”

In a move stunning US allies and global leaders, the American President (today) has abolished all key financial positions. The US chief executive has appointed WHITE RABBIT to take over economic decisions for the country.

There was some wailing and gnashing of teeth, as Treasury, Federal Reserve and other directors were ordered to clean out their desks in 24 hours.

The President acted swiftly to assure rabbits and chickens that their eggs would not be SUCKED DRY as a result of any decisions made by him.

When interviewed in Washington DC today, White Rabbit (WR) thanked his global sponsors who have put him in his new, exalted office. WR said this, while putting his left hand on the GOLDEN EGG:

“My first action will be to bring on board a new Press Secretary to properly spin our financial destruction. I have directed federal agents today to enter the RABBIT HOLE and to find Alice to fill this position.

“Alice has been with me thru thick and thin, and she is the only one who can eat the ’shrink me’ wafer. The President has given me power over all US business schools. Henceforth, Alice in Wonderland is the only tolerated textbook for ECONOMICS 101.”

In his second, official act, White Rabbit abolished all current, required sayings on federal stationary and alleged currency to now read - EAT ME!

Last week, I was trying to move to a more disciplined writing schedule. So, I took a card at our site - threesecondcircus.com. My guru for the day (or eternal time) was a hairy primate with an authority stick. He left me with “FLY FREE”, “CROAK WITH PASSION” and the need to HONOR TRIBE as the jungle changes abruptly. Differing percentages of ourcelves are DESIGNED BY OTHERS.

Each generation will view word symbols differently. All words have crystalline, relective characteristics, are a burst of light and create more of the PRISMATIC MIND. Having lived THREE REVOLUTIONS of the sun and having my share of unique life experiences, I am going to view life from the CENTER OF THE CRYSTAL differently from any other person.

My quandry about writing this blog has been my own formal training and my experiences in varying worlds of work. I was heavily drenched in THIRD PERSON OBJECTIVE - to be able as a mammal to step aside from my underlying reptillian brain and my softer, more gushier, right side of my brain. Some say “bow to tradition - never BELLY UP TO A STAR!”

Five years of university training sent squads of intellectual soldiers marching thru my head. The intellect gained more prominence - now enchanted with social change in the sixties and seventies… watching carefully the dance between money, power and the impacts on human beings. Maybe, it was my last name - Yarbrough. An ancestor-researcher told me that my last name meant “those who drew the leigh lines for the village (borough)”. So, flowing in my blood is the meandering lines of county governments, towns and villages - lines that follow creeks, rivers and mountains. A far different feeling than cutting up the land into straignt lines from A TO Z. We should permit villages built with indigenous materials more and more.

I believe that the genome/dna research has provided evidence that all of our ANCESTORS ARE ENCODED inside each of us. So, that when I was conceived, I was different from my mother and father - I was one of three chairs around the round table. I brought my own set of ancestral memories encoded in my flesh and blood chips of light. Our three worlds blended. As I grew older, and past the dependence of animal survival, I began to assert myself more. There was a third of me that wanted to pass the FIFTY PERCENT MARK (FPM) and exert more control over my life.

But my parents were multiplied many times over in the jungle that I lived in. I’m using the word “jungle” to mean animal habitat. For example, I haved lived in both the Chihuahuan desert and the Sonoran desert - both had their own distinct cultures. Even though we’re living in Northern California now, I still eat foods from the desert everyday - peppers and agave syrup. I also take yucca tablets for their saponin. I drink an ounce of tequilla everyday.

I have seen film on accelerated light traveling in a confined tunnel. As the light gets denser, it turns into a blue light. This is the visual of the thought, feeling or word. Some would probably prefer ACTION rather than WORD. But, the spiritual model of the CELF (cell-self) - the light - precedes the blue particle of everyday material life.

So, let me say it more directly, the spiritual belief system of the United States - (all 300 million of us) led us to the financial difficulties that we are now in. We have passed the STAGE OF PLANNING in coping with coming accelerated change. We are forced into CRISIS MANAGEMENT. There is a saying in the swamps of the deep south - “Its hard to think about draining the swamp, when you’re up to your ass in ALLIGATORS.”

To keep putting vulcanized patches on the same tube dozens of times moves up the risk of a flat. The federal government is dysfunctional. We are going to have to DE-CENTRALIZE authority, the collection of money and the directed spending of money back to the states, counties, cities and towns. Governor Gibbons of Nevada is advocating using gasoline taxes collected in Nevada - for Nevada’s road and street problems.

In plain English, he doesnt want to send this money to the central government. In other words, WHATS COLLECTED IN NEVADA STAYS IN NEVADA! Great start, Governor! How about this - let’s divide the revenues collected by DC into THIRDS with one third to the federal government, one third to the states and one third to county governments, cities and towns. Arthur

Each week, I pick a card from threesecondcircus.com. The question that I asked this week is “Which of the 48 villagers (archetypes) can help me sustain my writing on our websites?” I entered three numbers and selected one of 48 cards. In this system, the celf is the cell as light and the self as light - celf. This teacher is ARCHETYPE ELEVEN.

Each being - a part of our PRISMATIC CELF- comes from our own life experiences. This seer is a standing primate holding a hefty staff. Here is his SAYING:

“This animal holds his SCEPTRE OF AUTHORITY. Equality with Royalty is in this wood.” When I was putting this system together as a book and cards, Deborah and I were living in a house gifted to us near Nevada City, CA The two story had magpies galore, a sacred sweat dug back into a mound of decomposed granite, a well and a small lake nearby. Every day at sunrise, I would leave the bigger house and go outside to a small space built of saplings and canvas.

This PRIMATE tells me that he is not a peasant begging at the table of the king and queen. He says that he does not need the gem encrusted staff inset with gold to be the center of his domain. He lives simply and carries his AUTHORITY STICK. In his life, his authority and his power comes from SEEDS that have been nourished and grown into small trees . “Since you are a forest animal and eternal TEACHER OF LOVE - what do you have to say to me,” I asked. We found two rocks, both with moss, and sat down facing one another. Then, he spoke softly:

” This GROUP ANIMAL is connected to all other animals. Describe your CONNECTION with animals”. So, I said to him -” I know that birds fly in flocks and fish swim in schools and humans seem to need other human’s company.” The furred guru said to me - “Well, living by the ocean, you have sea gulls; and all around your house you have croaking frogs. Maybe, you should ask them how to consistently write. “Well, I have”, I said, and the sea gulls said “fly free” and the frogs said “croak with passion”. The primate shifted position - “Honor all other animals, including humans, and accept your need for a tribe, wherever you are”.

The ape pushed the staff out from the rock, pursed his lips and said: “Much of the movement in the world is RULED BY THREES. So, here is question two. SIMPLE IMAGE ANIMALS let love flow. Do complex images divert or dam your flow of love?” It was quiet in the forest. It seemed a long time passed before I replied: “It has never been my desire to DIVERT or DAM the flow of love into me and out from me. Yet, I know complex intellectual views of life can divert or deflect SIMPLY FELT LOVE away from me.”

The creature stood up with his authority stick, listened and said nothing. Then, he posed question three: “Do you LOVE YOURCELF as much as others? Do you need an authority stick to do that?” The sun was setting. It was time to leave. He gave me his staff. He waved goodbye. In parting, he said “Each word and image is a breathing sphere of peace, power and wealth. A staff is more than a PIECE OF WOOD.”

So, both Deborah and I will be drawing from our own experiences to write about the mystical aspects of our lives as well as the practical, material, everyday world. We will be writing about the 48 archetypes, about our designs/domains and, in a non-partisan fashion, we will write about the FUTURE OF AMERICA, as we see it.

I read other journalists/writers everyday. I usually want to know something about writers that I read consistently. So, who is the gray-haired writer - ARTHUR? I was born in 1940 when the US was officially neutral (by law) as the Nazis gobbled up more and more territory. A year later, Pearl Harbor pulled us into the war. I wore a little soldier suit, as the war went on, and there was rationing. I grew up in South Texas, two hours from the Mexican border.

My southern ancestry was from Tennessee (my father/grandparents}and my northern ancestry from Pennsylvania (my mother/grandmother}. I grew up fishing and hunting in both states. My father’s clan was centered in the country and my mother’s family in the city. Both families were fiercely independent and had their own small businesses.

I had been living in a world of herbalists, spiritualistas and teachers since I was born. But I remember distinctly helping the curandera (at age 10) to make tortillas and to sort her herbs. If you were sick, you could consult an herbalist. I will write about NATURAL MEDICINE as part of the solution for the health care “crisis” in America. Health Care should come from county governments. Unfunded mandates come from the feds to the states to the counties. There is administrative costs at every level. Part of the solution is to divide all REVENUES going into the federal govt into three parts - with one-third going to each level of govt - federal, state and local (which includes county governments, towns, cities and rural areas). Without this, essential, social services will drown with the US budget.

I went to the University of Texas at Austin and got a degree in Journalism - with my passion being government, economics and English. This was in 1971. I am glad that I was in school during that era of strong, investigative reporting - when Walter Cronkite, Dan Rather and Bill Moyers spoke at UT and encouraged us to seek a higher vision for America.

I worked in the advertising departments of two daily newspapers. Then, I worked for 12 years in the design and operation of new, SOCIAL SERVICE programs. I was in charge of the media for an urban, community action agency at 27- operating with funds from OEO and the Department of Labor. We trained low income people for skilled jobs.

I also worked for two County governments - with one I managed 26 social service contract agencies, all different and with different funding sources. I also worked on the staff of a District Attorney for two years - handling media/admin for an alternative sentencing program. I worked for a second community action agency from 1969-72 as an advocate for low income people. I also held upper management positions with Head Start for four years. I wrote grants and assured compliance for 1,500 preschoolers - visiting 25 centers each month.

By 1980, I was pretty burned out on the sixties and seventies. I had finished 22 years of a non-stop life. In addition to supporting myself, I was involved in a number of projects from supporting political candidates to protests that got me gassed, jailed and beaten. I had lost count of the number of threats. Texas politics in the 60’s & 70’s was “take no prisoners”.

I was living, alone, in a house near Austin in the 80″s. I let all of my political and other entanglements drop away. It turned out the house was built on top of a number of middens -ancient kitchen spaces stacked one on top of the other thru time. Different phenomena happened for which I had no experience or intellectual/emotional formats. After a year of teaching/healing from this mystical theatre, I was invited to Nevada City - an old, goldrush/Victorian town north of Sacramento and west of Lake Tahoe.

In Northern California, I met Deborah and we were married in the early 80’s. Since that time, we have lived in the Anasazi ceremonial grounds in Arizona - in a multi-owner village that kept the spirit of the sixties alive. We went back to the Austin area for two years to be near my family. In 2006, we moved back to northern California to be near Deborah’s three children and four grandchildren. Now we are living in the village of Mendocino, north of San Francisco.

This is my first post on timeseed.com. I decided to choose a card from threesecondcircus.com to help me focus my mind for the task

The image feels synchronistically appropriate, as the image reflects the environment we live in. The beauty of the Northern California coast, especially here in Mendocino, is a great image of the love that nature expresses to us at all times.

So, anyone who has been to threesecondcircus.com knows that there are three questions to help me focus my thoughts.

1. Do you RETURN TO THIS PLANET AS MUCH AS YOU RECIEVE? How do you do this?

I must say that I am not sure how I could return to the planet as much as I recieve.That Said, I do feel that loving the planet and my life are a good place to start.

I was taught by my father to pick up trash in nature, and not to leave my own behind for others. This Christmas, I gave my childrens families cloth grocery bags. I live within walking distance of the “day job” I enjoy.

Arthur had the desire to share Three Second Circus free with the world, and I have learned how to do that. Right now we are giving “America Begins At Home” away free to people as we feel strongly that people need to remember personal responsibility in our politics and our homes.

2. THE MOON CREATES TIDES IN THE PHYSICAL BODY AND THE PSYCHIC BODY. Do you agree?

I suppose that I do agree. Being female in this lifetime celf I continue to have monthly reminders of the rhythm of life. My creativity and the development of that has also ebbed and flowed through the years. This topic could be explored in much greater detail through time, but right now, I am happy to be writing again. I had written nearly daily for twenty years, but for the past year, I hadn’t written very much. I attribute the change to a physical move and psychic adaptation to a new work/environment.

3. Nature is measured in angstrom units - HUMAN AURIC LIGHTS. What color are you?

This is a funny question, in that yesterday I wore a coat that was a fuscia color. I was pretty uncomfortable in it. There was a time when I had a coat that color, that I lived in, at the time I was focused on my spiritual development I am currently wearing more earth tones, orange and greens and browns. I am grounding my spiritual nature into the physical world.
