CHILD AS WORK AND LIFETIME CELF
Children have WISDOM FROM THE AGES, not colored or dis-colored by the pigment of life experience.
Mothers day has recently happened, and the birth date of my first child as well. I enjoy 4 Mother’s Days every year now that they are grown. My children taught me the most about individuality as we learned how to communicate with each other.
Question 1. When you were a child, did you dance, make music and create art? Do you now?
I believe I was fairly quiet as a child until I got to be about Seven years old. We had square dance in school. I played dress up and performed on the hearth to the singles on the record player. About the same time my father and his friends created an Indian Guides group with all of the kids. We had been hiking together, but now we made leather bags and chipped arrowheads.
I am now singing with some lady friends almost every Sunday. I have even brought my drum back out and am enjoying the playing and singing. My art seems to be mostly writing right now.
Question 2. How did you WORK AS A CHILD? How do you work now? Which way of working do you enjoy most?
I imagine that I learned to work from, with my mother. By the time I can think of my self working I was given chores that I did as I felt inclined, or when the family was on the clean up group project. I now work in a pretty fluid way. I do enjoy being independent and flowing through my responsibilities. I don’t think I felt the pressure of responsibility, as a child, that working creates in me now. I am creating the responsibilities I take on now which is satisfying.
Question 3. Have you ever learned anything from a child that CHANGED YOU as an adult?
I learned the the reality of merged energy fields. The bonds of love that developed the deepening of my intimate relationships.
