Years ago I stayed with my Grandmother. My Grandfather had died and the family wanted someone to be with her for a while. Some events occurred with people and I said to her “ Well Grandma, we are just a bunch of animals.” My Grandmother indignantly retorted “I am not an animal, I am a Child of God”.
It makes me think about the Lifetime and Eternal aspects of who we are. In this system the Lifetime is described as a Collection of Events. The Eternal is described as “Beyond Collecting”. We are in bodies, so being beyond collecting of events is a rare and special event. A place of pure peace and power. The closest we get to that is through the angelic aspect of our nature. Those of us who are focused on tuning into and developing our angelic nature or “being close to God” tend to be less tuned into their angel. Traditionally, Convents, Monasteries and Ashrams are the examples of the path away from the animal by living simply.
The lifetime Celf is a collection of Events. These events include our work, play, love and healing, our ancestors as well as our children. We tend to think of Animal as Work and Lifetime Celf as how we bring in our material security.
Sometimes our personal or genetic emotional drama acts out and requires our focus. The Angel as Work and Eternal Celf “pours the Spirit of Change into your Bowl for you”. Sometimes the Animal as Work and Lifetime Celf can do nothing other than “deal with the opportunity to heal” that the Angel at work offers.
Tuning into the Eternal aspect of our nature helps to develop the Angelic nature. When the angelic nature is sparked a path is set into motion to develop our individual gifts. This development of gifts has led to some great spiritual teachers that we can learn from, but it has also led to the persecution of many. Facing and moving through the collection of events of our lifetime and the events that affect the family genetic lifetime are Animal work.
